Great range when compared to older electric ranges. Induction cooktop is hot almost immediately and has cut my time standing in front of the stove in half. With the cooking time reduced so is the amount of energy I am using. Oven has a wide variety of cooking methods too. The only improvement I could ask for would be if the markings on the induction stove top were a little easier to see in lower light. I usually have to turn the overhead on to see the markings to properly place the frying pan.

We have solar electricity and have been slowly replacing fossil fuel dependent appliances with electric. The new induction stove is our latest purchase. The stove is fantastic although we did have to buy some new pots and pans but our old ones were getting a little tired anyway. The learning curve was a little slow, for a 70 year old, converting from gas but once you get the hang of it it works great.

My first induction range. This is more affordable than others and was highly rated by Consumer Reports. Had concerns that it would be noisy but that's hasn't been a problem. Two things that would make it better - 1. A way to turn off the clock, and 2., more responsive touch response - it often takes several taps to turn the burners on.

Switching from dials to buttons took a little time to adjust to but after that the induction top and oven performed perfectly. Heat up time was rapid and the temperature on the induction top remained steady once set - so much better than the on/off heating of my old electric range. I haven™€™t yet tried the air fry feature since it requires some accessories, which unfortunately were not included(thus the 4 rather than 5 rating).

Bought this as a replacement for another electric range with a regular smooth cook top. So far the oven works well, although that is no different than our previous one. Have not tried the air fry feature yet so cannot speak to that.The induction cook top is AWESOME! It heats the pan incredibly fast and, once you get used to it, cooks very evenly. There are so many pluses to this cook top:- Extremely fast - Has to use less energy than a standard electric range- Heating element does not retain much heat at all once the pan is removed. We have a son with a disability and we no longer have to worry about him accidentally touching an extremely hot element (there is some residual heat left over from the pan but that quickly dissipates)- Easy to keep clean.The only thing with this is that you have to use stainless steel pots and pans in order for the induction to heat. This is absolutely a minor concern as I was able to buy a brand name set of SS pots and pans at a nearby warehouse club for 50$.So far I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Should anything happen to cause my opinion to change, I will update the review. Until then, I would highly recommend.

For anyone looking to get into induction cooking, this range will be your best, affordable option. We replaced our 7 yr old electric Samsung range with this induction Frigidaire and could not be happier, even though the build quality of the Samsung was better; let me explain.If you've ever compared cooking on an induction stovetop and an electric stovetop, you know that induction is vastly superior. Not only is induction much faster at bringing water to a boil, but you have precise control over the heat, unlike a regular electric range. That means you're able to cook better, like with gas. But unlike gas, which could produce hotspots, induction spreads the heat evenly. And what's absolutely genius about this Frigidaire is that the burners as auto-size sensing. This means that the range knows what size pan you're using and heats up only that area. Of course, that's the beauty of induction, where you're not heating the surface of the stovetop, but the pan itself. No more extremely hot surfaces of traditional electric stovetops when you remove the pan. Yes, your induction stovetop will still be warm since the pan which was sitting on it was hot, but it won't send you to the ER like with a traditional electric stovetop. This Frigidaire also performed admirably with baking. We haven't used the over much, but so far the temperature seems to be precise and it has cooked evenly. Also, we haven't had a chance to use the Air Fry feature, but I'm sure it will be fine, judging by the baking performance. I will note that when researching, I was a little disappointed to learn that this model does not come with the air fry basket like its "front control" sibling; and that's about a $50 option. Not a deal breaker, of course, but I thought with Air Fryer in the title, that basket should have been included.So why 4 stars and not 5? Like I mentioned earlier, the build quality on this model is not as good as our outgoing Samsung electric range, and that Samsung range was not top of the line. Compared to the Samsung and other ranges we viewed, the Frigidaire seems be built with thinner metal. Nothing rattles or is falling off, don't get me wrong, but overall it just feels like it was put together with cheaper materials. My hope is that the internals do not match the exterior and this thing does not stop working in a year or two. The good news is that the cheaper feeling material is in areas that are mostly hidden, e.g. the sides and back of the range. Once you slide this into place, you won't have to interact with those areas. The oven door, interior and the stovetop itself seem fine. My one area of a little concern is with the controls. Those are all touch and sometimes require a push in a precise area. I find myself sometimes having to try 2 or 3 times to turn on a burner. More precise buttons or a dial would have been better. Seems like this was a cost-cutting measure to help make this range affordable. My hope is that the touch 'buttons' hold up in the long term. As for the other features of the range, like self-cleaning, we have not had an opportunity to use this yet so can't comment.Overall, I would recommend this range for anyone looking for a good, affordable, induction range. Yes, there are better looking induction units out there with more than 4 burners and front controls, but you will pay a lot more. And you can get a beautiful electric stovetop for the same price, but it won't beat induction cooking. This is certainly a great product and you will ne happy cooking with it.

This is our first induction stove as well as our first convection oven. It can be slightly loud at times, but overall we love it. It is so fast to heat on the stovetop as well as very quick preheating for the oven. The temperature staying steady is great, as is the safe touch surface. It's also so much easier to clean because the surface doesn't get that hot so nothing cooks on it if it boils over. This is a great product.

This is our first induction and convection range. It takes a little getting used to. The only issue we have is the oven temperature. For example, we have the oven set to 350, if we open the door, the temperature drops and does not go back up to the set temperature of 350. It seems we have to manually reset the temperature to 350.

If you are ready to replace your range, consider the Frigidaire induction range. The price allowed me to move up to induction cooking. And I do mean "up." The range heats your pots and pans quickly and heats up the food, not the entire kitchen. The controls are touch-sensitive and give you instant aural feedback so you know that you have turned on the feature. This model also features a convection oven. As a home baker, I'm finding that very nice. Overall a good investment.

Looks Great, like the many features

Overall great range. Getting used to the slight 'buzz' of cook-top. I knew convection fan in oven would be noticeable, not a problem. Found oven retains heat better than old range. To minimize scratches of cook-top, I purchased stove-top high temperature 'pads' that can be used under the pots & pans. Good to 450*. So far, so good. I wish the documentation would list the actual high temps of the various settings, so I won't exceed that. The old 'coil-top' burners would get RED HOT. I have a temperature 'gun', and so far only recorded about 250*. I wish someone would contact me on that. Spouse is slowly getting used to the new range, it is new, and operates a little differently, and change is not accepted easily at times. Have purchased some new cook ware, measuring old often used pans/pots and will acquire new for favorite pieces. Just looking around for INDUCTION use-compatible cookware at reasonable prices. So much of old cookware was in great shape, But even the stainless steel 18/10 Farber Ware doesn't work. I knew Aluminum would not.

So far, so good. We've had this range for about a month and I like it very much. It is great new tech; a real step forward at reasonable price. Controls are easy to learn and the range responds quickly. There are options, without being overwhelming.A good choice.

A Learning Experience

Would have been 5 stars, but still getting used to the noise of the oven convection fan coming on and going off. Otherwise it works great! Still learning, with pots heating very quickly and boiling stopping immediately when you turn the burner off. We had to buy a new set of cookware to work with the induction burners, which we knew. Most pans sold nowadays work fine, but bring a magnet to the store, or read descriptions carefully online. We found that Costco and Sam's Club had more cookware sets available online than in the stores. The oven heats quickly and holds a steady and accurate temperature, so it bakes faster than our old oven. The convection fan seems to seal meats and baked goods better so they come out a bit moister on the inside. The air fryer works well on frozen convenience foods like chicken nuggets or fries that we have tried. On the first range we had delivered, only the clock and the convection fan/heating element worked, but the dealer replaced it with a new one after hearing of the problems. They took care of it quickly and efficiently, so kudos to the Warner's Stellian folks

THIRD TIMES A CHARM?

First one delivered had only two burners that worked and no oven at all. A month later yhe replacement arrived. But the fan in the oven is intolarable noisy and loud. I almost feel like you do not test your appliances before they leave the factory. Waiting another month for the third replacement. Very disappointed and inconvienenced

Induction Range

I am learning to use my new induction range. It has been amazing how quickly the water heats to a boil on the cook top. I was disappointed that the rebate with the new pans didn't go through for me. I am searching for new pans to use. I have been doing home chef and I have been cooking every night...which is amazing because I used to go out all of the time.
